On account of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, on the occasion of World Liver Day, a free medical checkup and Ayurveda awareness camp was organized for the general public by the Department of Kayachikitsa of Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Naringana, on 27/04/2022. It was done in association with Lions Club International and Leo Club Mangalore, at the Lion’s SevaMandir, Mangalore. The camp began with the formal function and Lion’s Club President Ln B. SathishRai delivered the Welcome speech. It was followed with the inauguration by lighting the lamp by the chief guests. Dr. Zenica D’Souza, Professor and H.O.D, Department of Kayachikitsa gave an introductory speech regarding the camp and the relevance of World Liver Day 2022 observation. Dr. Ajay Bhat U, Associate Professor, Department of Kayachikitsa gave the awareness talk regarding the treatment facilities available at Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Naringana and Yenepoya Ayurveda Specialty Hospital, Kankanady, Mangalore. The function was concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Ln.Dennis Rodrigues.           Dr. Zenica D’souza, Dr. Ajay Bhat U and Dr. Saritha A K consulted the patients and necessary medicines were prescribed.
