School Health Programme

 school Health Programme DEPARTMENT OF KAUMARABHRITYA.   A school health programme was conducted at Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital Naringana on 29/11/2018. 25 students of primary school and 2 teachers from D.G Katte Govt. school attended. The activities held in the programme were as follows: 1)     Awareness about health 2)    Interaction with students regarding personal hygiene 3)    Importance of nutritious food 4)    General health check-up was done 5)    The programme concluded with a Health drink to students and teachers.     ·        Awareness regarding Health was done by Dr. Supriya (Asst.professor & consultant, Dept of Swastavrutta) ·        Regarding children’s health was done by Dr. Almas Tarannum (Asst.  professor & consultant, Dept of Kaumarabhritya) ·        Health check up By Dr. Mrudula (Asst. professor & consultant, Dept of  Prasootitantra and streeroga) ·        Dr.Shilpa (Asst. professor & consultant, Dept of Kayachikitsa), Dr.Pooja (RMO), Dr.Chaitra (RMO), Mr. Anwar and Mr.Mustaq were organised the camp.
